Check Six was the first filight simulation from Pegasus Japan on the NEC PC-9801 Series.
In this game, the player is a mercenary pilot who gets rewarded for successful missions and can buy aircraft.

The Package contains a 40 page manual and 2 floppy disks.
The Main menu cosists of ROSTER, AIRCRAFT, OPTION SETTING, EXIT.
In ROSTER, the player can confirm cash, own aircraft and kill score.
In AIRCRAFT, the player can buy and sell aircrafts.
Flyable aircraft are A-4, A-10, F-5E, F-4, F-14, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, F-117, AV-8B, TORNADO, Mirage2000, JA-37, MiG-29. At the begining, player has only 2000 credits and can buy A-4 or F-5E only. The Player has to work hard to buy his favorite aircraft.
Check Six has no training mission. It has a campaign that consists of 21 missions.
In the missions, the cockpit screen and the tactical map screen are instantly selectable.
The time is accelerated in the tactical map. When bogies are contacted or the target si approached the tactical map is automatically switched to the cockpit.

Avionics and weapon

The cockpit consist of a HUD, two display and other conventional instruments, the left display for automatic target tracking camera, the center display for omnidirectional RADAR.
All aircraft use same cockpit.

Graphic

Screen resolution is 640~400 pixels and 16 colors. It give a similar inpression to AirCombat III.

There is a little dynamics. It is slightly more difficult than AirCombat III.
The shape of level flight envelope is far different from real aircraft. The max speed by AB is same as by MIL.
There is a transparent ceiling board at about 65500ft. A aircraft cannot fly over it.
